It is my great pleasure to announce that we have hired two new staff members. Holli Clark for Youth Director and Gina McNeal for Children’s Director. They are familiar faces to many of you. They come with strong qualifications and lots of energy. They were both official as of October 1st. Hopefully you will have an opportunity to greet them and welcome them if you have not already done so.

In Christ,

Pastor Chris

I have been married to my husband Melvin for 11 years. He’s still surprised we made it past our first date. See, he says I showed up to our blind date wearing, what he calls “Go Go” boots….Really??? He’s just not fashion forward. Well somehow we made it past that, whew! We joined the church about 10 years ago. At that time we didn’t have any kids, and I was working at JCPenney headquarters as a financial planner. So I worked in the “fashion industry”… just saying.   Anyway, after our first daughter was born we decided I would stay home.   So, working too much at a retail career quickly turned into over planning and over organizing our new life. I mean who makes an excel spreadsheet to feed their only child… that’s right…this girl right here! We now have two girls Casey (7) and Lindsey (5), and I have since found something better to do with those spreadsheets. I have been working in the office at the preschool for the past 5 years. I have also volunteered in the nursery, taught Sunday school, lead a Bible Club class on Wednesday nights, and directed VBS. I’m super excited to now lead our children’s ministry, and to watch these kids grow in their faith…and me too!

  Holli Clark

Hello! My name is Holli Clark and although many of you may know me from my years at FUMC Forney I am excited to get to know each of you better and share more of myself with you! I grew up in Forney at this church and wouldn’t change it. This church’s Children’s and Youth ministry is the reason I decided to go into ministry. I graduated from Dallas Baptist University in December 2015 with a BA in Christian Studies with minors in Psychology and History. Since then I have been working at a financial firm and substitute teaching. I am very excited to be involved with the church again and to be a part of leading our young people I know will change the world. Again, I am excited to be back and to be involved with the community once again!
