Join us on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 6:00 pm in the FLC for a wonderful presentation from one of our Bulgarian partners. Our church and conference have been supporting the Global Methodist churches in Bulgaria for over a year now. The Bulgarian Methodist churches were the first to leave the UMC and with that, left all of their financial resources. Our conference has stepped in to help pay their pastor’s salaries for the next five years.
We will have dinner and listen to a 30-minute presentation from the pastor and a 10-minute presentation from a member of our conference. It will also be a chance for us to take up an offering for continued support. Last year, our covenant area raised over $8,000 in support, which was almost double the goal.
