Our Mission:
To guide children along their spiritual path by helping them to:
* Know Jesus.
* Learn to serve others, by showing them that the world is bigger than just themselves.
* Learn to use and read their Bibles. An important life skill.
Children and Worship
Sunday Morning Nursery
Sunday mornings we offer a nursery for children up to age 4. Our nursery is located in the student building (SB) #4. Please sign your child into the nursery upon arrival. The nursery staff will assist you with our simple security procedures and take wonderful care of your little ones.
Children’s Sunday School
Children’s Sunday School meets each week from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
Children Kindergarten thru 6th grade meet in the Worship Center (in the left hall of the student building) for joys, concerns, and prayer.
Children will then be divided into age-specific groups and learn Bible stories through games, cooking, art, drama, science, and movies.
Children’s Church
All children are invited to listen to the children’s sermon during worship. Following children’s sermon, children age 4 thru 2nd grade can attend children’s church. We will escort the children over to the student building and parents may pick up their child up following worship service.
Children’s Choir and Handchimes
Kids of the Kingdom, grades K-6, learn how to use their musical talents to worship God in all aspects of life. At various times throughout the school year, the children will present their gifts to the congregation during the Traditional worship service. We meet from 5:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings, September through April, to coincide with other church activities.

FIRST METHODIST KIDS WEDNESDAY NIGHT INCLUDES:
CHILDREN’S CHOIR AND HANDCHIMES
Wednesdays, from 5:15-6:00 p.m. in the sanctuary for grades K-6
DINNER
Wednesdays, from 6:00-6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center. All ages comes together for the Wednesday night meal.
Cost is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for children, or $21.00 per family.
KID’S BIBLE STUDY AND ACTIVITIES
Wednesdays, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Student Building for grades K-6. Kids participate in Bible study with games and activities that help them focus on what’s in the Bible and why we believe it’s true.
Children’s Mission Group
(September Thru April)
The Lord’s Army is a kid-driven mission group. Kids from kindergarten through 6th grade are empowered to help others by doing monthly missions. Our missions include making and selling Manna bags, collecting items for the local food pantry, making scarves and blankets for the homeless, and helping our community by volunteering where we can.
Missions carried out the 4th Sunday of every month 9:45-10:45 a.m. during Sunday School. Some missions may continue on after late service depending on the type of mission to be accomplished

Child Safety
Your child’s safety is of our upmost importance.
Our entire staff, including volunteers have had background checks and Ministry Safe training. Parents are asked to assist in keeping their child safe by signing children in and out of all children’s activities.
