First Methodist Forney Preschool

We are a Christ centered early childhood program, preparing children for kindergarten starting at age one.

Mission Statement:

We are a Bible based Preschool. We teach the love of God and the joy of learning, while preparing children for kindergarten.

Program and Philosophies:

Our program is for children 1 to 5 years of age. We are a Bible based Christian learning center. We use the Wee Learn curriculum. The children hear a Bible story each week and the unit of the week goes with the Bible story. Children learn their letters, numbers, shapes, colors, basic math, and science, through centers, manipulatives, role play, art, music, and outdoor play. We extend our learning to the outdoors in our outdoor classroom as well. Emphasis is placed on the needs of each individual child and their families.

Hours of operation:

Monday /Wednesday classes- 9am to 2pm
Tuesday/Thursday classes – 9am to 2pm
Monday thru Thursday classes- 9am to 2pm

- The Preschool operates on the same holiday/teacher in-service schedule as the Forney Independent School District.

Costs:

- Registration fee per family: $200
- Supply fee per child: $75 for two classes, $150 for four-day classes. (At registration and in January)
- Monthly tuition; for two-day classes $210 and four-day classes $420.
