Happy Wednesday to each of you! I hope you plan to join us tonight at Wednesday Night Fellowship! The Youth are serving pizza.
We have a lot of exciting things coming up here in February! Starting with the Annual Chili Cook-off that benefits youth missions. It will be February 4th and the theme is movies. I cannot wait to experience it for the first time. I have heard wonderful things about how fun it is! I love to see the generous ways that this church supports our youth ministry.
Lent is upon us and will begin on Ash Wednesday, which falls on February 14th this year. We will have a beautiful Ash Wednesday service that evening at 6 pm in the Sanctuary. On Tuesday, February 13, we will have a Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner that will benefit our Capital Campaign.
I feel that we have had such a sweet start to the year together. Our weekly prayer gathering at noon on Wednesdays has been very fruitful. I have always been told that the most important thing that we can do in our week is pray. How have you prayed this week?
In our series, Walking in Grace, we are exploring different means of grace explored by Andrew Thompson in his book linked below. This Sunday will be all about fellowship!
